Dear SCHS Family:
Welcome, and welcome back! It is hard to believe that the 2009-2010 school year has already begun. The sights and sounds of the new school year are all around me as I write this letter. We are looking forward to a great year.
It is my hope that your student’s experience this school year will be one of spiritual growth, success, and happiness. I am sincerely grateful that you have entrusted the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social growth of your sons and daughters to the administration, faculty, and staff of Seton Catholic High School. We consider ourselves “partners with parents” in the formation of our young men and women. As partners, I ask for your daily prayers for the success of this school year. Please pray that we can continue to witness God’s love for us in the traditions of excellence carried on by our talented and dedicated faculty and staff.
We welcome three new members to the SCHS faculty and staff and we thank them for their willingness to serve as ministers of Catholic education. Miss Anna Chatfield is teaching English/Language Arts at the high school level. Rev. Gerald Okeke is teaching two sections of Theology. Mrs. Cyndi Poe, our Administrative Assistant, is the welcoming voice that greets you when you call or stop by the office. Welcome aboard!
The students at Seton Catholic are required to participate in the service program conducted through our Theology classes. Parents can enforce the concept of service as a way of life by volunteering to help in many areas at school. Volunteering is a way to meet the parents whose children share special interests with your own. Please call the school office and let us know if you are interested in volunteering your time or talents.
Go Cardinals!
Sincerely Yours In Christ,
